Our story

A lifetime spent with animals, and a quiet patch of countryside to share with yours.

Rockhill is a small, family run boarding farm tucked into the hills above Clun. We started taking in cats and dogs back in 2002 and we have been doing it ever since, looked after by the same hands and the same routine your pet will get.

The farm is quiet. The runs look out over the garden or the open fields. Every guest is treated as a member of the family for as long as they stay with us, whether that is a single day or a few weeks.

We are licensed and inspected by Shropshire Council, fully insured, and we ask for an up to date vaccination certificate for every cat and dog that comes to stay. It keeps everyone safe and well.

Looking forward to meeting you and your pet. The Rockhill family · Clun, Shropshire

Our two cats have stayed at Rockhill several times now and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The chalets are spotless and you can tell the animals are properly looked after. Lovely setting too.

Took our labrador for a viewing before we booked her in for two weeks while we were away. The runs are big, the kennels are heated, and they walk every dog on their own. Came back happy as anything.

A proper family run place. They are honest, professional and the appointment system means there is none of the chaos you get at other kennels. Highly recommended for anyone in the Clun and Craven Arms area.
